1.The Introduction
This restaurant is opened in 1996. Its soba has rich dashi(broth) and strong Chewiness. Its tempura sourced only in mountain areas is best with green tea salt.
It is run by ladies who live in Kuriyama village. At first, They didn’t know how to make soba. They do want to revitalize the village. That’s why they started running the restaurant. Consequently, they learned how to make soba from teachers and tried to make delicious soba continuously. Now, this soba is becoming very popular. Many people both local and tourists love it.

How to travel between Kinugawa onsen and Tokyo (Japan-guide.com)
The best way to get here is by taking your own vehicle. If coming via public transportation take the Tobu Nikko Line to Kinugawa Onsen Station (鬼怒川温泉駅). From there take the bus in the direction of Meotobuchi (女夫渕) and get off at Nojiri iriguti (野尻入口). The bus fare costs ¥770 and takes about 30 mitutes. There are only 4 buses a day with two in the morning and two in the afternoon. The bus timetable can be found in the link below.
